Benefiting blind and visually impaired Floridians through the services of local nonprofit agencies statewide, the new “A State of Vision” specialty license plates are available at your license tag agency or local Tax Collector’s Office in Pinellas County, Florida.
These license plates will raise critically-needed money to help thousands of Floridians who live with limited vision or blindness everyday. For $30 and a one-time license tag change fee you can exchange your current tag with this specialty tag that shows your charitable support. As you renew your tag annually, the Lighthouse of Pinellas will receive $25. Knowing that you are doing something to help others while you drive your car is a win – win!
Florida House of Representatives’ Speaker pro Tempore Dennis Baxley (R-Ocala), who sponsored legislation creating the “A State of Vision” specialty license tag said: “This was the very first project of the Florida Legislature’s new Vision Caucus; and it will help thousands of Floridians with vision loss. My wife and I will proudly display one of these tags on our car.”
For more information on their availability, call the license tag offices at (727) 464-7777. Your tag purchases within Pinellas County will go directly to the benefit of Lighthouse of Pinellas. Get one today and share our Vision!
