 Job Purpose: 

Provide instruction and training for clients participating in the Alumni Program which provides access to social, education, leisure, and wellness opportunities for adults who have successfully completed their rehabilitation program as well as reinforces independent living skills.

Essential Functions: 

  • Develop, organize and plan classes for monthly Alumni Program
  • Submit class outline, detailed by session to Director of Programs for review and approval
  • Provide instruction and/or group facilitation for Alumni Program classes
  • Facilitate the completion of class survey instruments to garner client feedback
  • Provide information to the Director of Programs regarding any individual client concerns
  • Complete statistical information and reports accordingly with Agency requirements
  • Ensure that classrooms have adequate supplies
  • Attend required Agency meetings and trainings

Qualifications: 

Education: 

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Expertise in area of instruction

Licensure or Certification: 

  • None required unless necessary/best practice for specific topic areas

Demonstrated Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work as a team member

Physical Demands: 

  • Lift light equipment used in performing job responsibilities

Requirements: 

  • Pass level II background check
